How NOVEC 1230 Fire Suppression System Works

Novecâ„¢ 1230 is a unique fire extinguishing clean agent. Among the Clean Agents, it has the lowest atmospheric lifetime of 5 days. It is stored as a liquid, which makes it easier for transport, and also has zero ozone depletion potential. As with other clean agents, it is an excellent choice for computer rooms, electrical control rooms, storage areas, and any high value area. Novec is calculated to discharge within 10 seconds, and is normally calculated at a 4.2% concentration. Nozzles supplied by us maximize pressure utilization and are able to cover sub-floors of up to 42.5’ x 42.5’ (12.95m x 12.95m) with a single nozzle. Improved agent vaporization allows nozzles to be mounted 18.5’ (5.64m) above the floor deck thereby enabling tall rooms to be protected by a single level of nozzles.
